Unit 29 - Pruincipals and Applications of Fluid mechanics

The principles of fluid mechanics can be applied to the design and operation of many pneumatic, hydraulic and propulsion systems and devices.

The design and operation of a hydraulically powered vehicle braking system is underpinned by hydrostatic fluid principles and the power and performance of jet engines depends in part on the linear momentum and thrust forces created by the working fluid.
